Collection: THE ARCADE KIDS

The Arcade Kids - Aztec Records

Synthpop revivalists The Arcade Kids blend analogue, nostalgia and natural modern-day productions, with raw human emotion—channeling heartbreak, love and fear.

Step into the nostalgic-lit dreamscape of The Arcade Kids, the electrifying modern-day synthpop band that fuses vintage 80s aesthetics with fresh emotional depth. Their debut album, 'Scenes & Splitscreens' (released July 2025, through AZTEC Records), brings together soaring synths, shimmering guitars, sultry saxophone lines and luscious vocals to create a sound both timeless and reminiscent of classic 80s movies, such as ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Dirty Dancing’.

Formed by longtime collaborators Phil Owst (Producer) and Teddy Pester (Vocalist/Lyricist), The Arcade Kids draw inspiration from icons like Go West, Wet Wet Wet, and Richard Marx, while carving out a signature sound that resonates with today’s complex emotional landscape. Their music doesn’t just revisit the past; it refracts it through the lens of modern day vulnerabilities and life’s complications.

Having already built a cult following through BBC Introducing and Spotify, The Arcade Kids are poised to reintroduce synthpop to a new generation—not as a nostalgic echo, but as a living, breathing sound of now.
