Leo Golo is a breath of fresh air in the pop music scene. With captivating melodies and production that complements them effortlessly, his music is both direct and emotionally resonant. Sometimes it's made for the dancefloor; other times, it tugs at the heartstrings. Deeply inspired by the great Swedish pop songwriters, Leo’s sound could be described as “Swedish pop, made in Barcelona”—and yes, it really does make sense.

His debut album, Silver Lining, is the result of three years of songwriting. It offers a vibrant mix: from the high-energy opener “All In & All Out” and the summery anthem “Too Close” to heartfelt ballads like “See Your Face.” The record is honest, upbeat, and highly relatable—a collection of stories set to infectious pop hooks.

Leo draws inspiration from artists like LANY, Tove Lo, and renowned songwriters such as Max Martin, Ilya Salmanzadeh, and Shellback. His music sits comfortably within the realms of Hope-beat, Synth-pop and 80s-inspired sounds, culminating in tracks like “Holding On,” where melancholic melodies, unexpected production choices, and an expressive vocal take centre stage.

Beyond his solo work, Leo is an accomplished keyboardist. He toured nationally for over a year as part of a Mecano tribute, honouring one of Spain’s most iconic bands. He’s also played with numerous acts and served as musical director for several. As a session musician, he’s recorded with national artists including GlezSee, Joan Liaño, and Albi Z, and continues to collaborate with and write for emerging local talent—something he’s keen to take global.

Leo’s Instagram covers have caught the attention of international names such as Anne-Marie, Tove Lo, BANKS, Marcus & Martinus, Adam Woods, James Smith and The Lost Youth—artists he one day hopes to collaborate with.
