Heartbreak City is a synth-pop trio hailing from South Wales, UK. The band (formed in late 2023 by Toby Davy, Aled R. Evans, and Jon Lilygreen) blends their lifelong love for 80s music with modern elements of rock, pop, and soul creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly original.

With a collective 15 years of experience performing in professional bands, the trio are no strangers to the stage or studio. Their collaboration is rooted in a deep musical friendship, and it shows in their seamless creative process. Every note, lyric, and beat is self-crafted, with all music written, produced and mixed in-house. Vocal and guitar tracks are refined at Jons studio, while primary production is handled at Tobys studio in Newport, Wales.

Inspired by artists of the 80s, 90s and today (as well as each other during improvisational sessions), Heartbreak City offers something genuinely heartfelt and distinct.
